Beer drinkers unite and head for Boone, North Carolina. The First Annual High Country Beer Fest will be held at Boone, NC, Saturday November 1. The High Country Beer Fest is the annual celebration of great craft beer from around the region and the world. You may sample superb craft beers, club beers, and delicious food in the beautiful high country of North Carolina. Educational seminars will cover all aspects of beer, brewing, and pairing food and beer.
From 1 to 5 pm: Sample hundreds of craft and club beers or attend one of the educational seminars at the Broyhill Inn and Conference Center on the campus of Appalachian State University. Tickets: $27 in advance, $35 at the door. Admission will include one official tasting glass.
But that’s not all. You will also want to consider attending the Blowing Rock Chamber Beer Festival Gala held that same evening right after the High Country Beer Festival — from 7 – 10 pm. This colorful event is $50 per person. Beer afficianados are invited to gather at the Meadowbrook Inn in Blowing Rock for an international, if not inspirational, pairing of food and beer meticulously prepared by the chefs of Meadowbrook Inn. Each item on the menu is being carefully paired with the beer to complement the flavors of the dish. If you love food and you love beer, then this is an event you will not want to miss.
Seating is, of course, limited so reserve your seat for this memorable event now to avoid disappointment.
