Have you heard of this? The Cumberland County, North Carolina Arts Council and Cape Fear Studios in Fayetteville are sponsoring their third annual Kids Shopping Adventure Saturday Dec 6 from 1 to 6 p.m.
If you can make the trip, this is a great way to buy children’s gifts this holiday and save. Merchants of Franklin and Maxwell Streets in Fayetteville, the colorful downtown historic district, are presenting an exciting craft and shopping event. Here’s who is participating: Babywear, Ltd., Belle Curve, Cape Fear Music Center, Cape Fear Studios, Greg’s!, Kindred Hearts, The Livery, Olde Town Gallery, and White Trash and Colorful Accessories. Children and their parents, or grandparents, can get into the holiday spirit while doing some creative shopping and taking part in inexpensive craft projects.
The stores will have a special (lower prices under $10) kids’ corner where children can shop for parents, teachers, grandparents, and friends. And while children must be accompanied into each store, the special shopping sections are for children’s eyes only! Many stores will provide gift wrapping, specials, and activities for children. There will also be a drawing for a Nintendo Game Cube system and many other items.
For information call Cape Fear Studios, 433-2986 or Greg’s! 483-8355.
